Notes: Is the tree on the sign of The Old Yew Inn in South Wingfield the same tree that was recorded in 1879 as growing in the NE corner of the burial ground? There is no sign of the tree today and people we spoke to had no recollection of an ancient yew. Its girth was reported as 23'.
