Notes: A private site east of Oxford and close to the border with Buckinghamshire. An unexpected yew location close to a stream at the far end of a garden and bordering open countryside. It is a possibility that this was once the site of a village abandoned after the plague. Did the trees perhaps mark the location of the former church, or the site of a burial pit?
