Notes: Troedyrharn is noted as a good example of a 16th century courtyard type farmhouse. It would seem to be on an old route between the churches of Llanddew and Llanywern. Growing on the bank leading down from Llanddew on the road to Llanywern are four evenly spaced and almost identically sized yews. Their location is clearly marked on the first edition O/S map.
