Notes: In 2016 it was thought that these would be the last images of a living yew tree at Uffculme. They can be seen on google street map. Uffculme was built in 1891 by Richard Cadbury and an article on his time in residence there states 'An ancient yew-tree, near the coacman's lodge, had been a landmark for centuries.' In March 2016 the yew tree was felled after being judged 'over mature'. The Ancient Yew Group was concerned that the description 'over mature' had led to what seemed like the unnecessary destruction of an ancient yew.
