Notes: This site is along the western edge of West Harting Down, several hundred metres away from the yews in West Harting Down - 1, which are all in the valley well to the east of this location. I recorded what I considered to be eleven noteworthy yews and think there are more to be discovered. The thuya trees are gradually being removed, making the yews even more prominent in the landscape. The individual tree positions were located on street map and the 10 figure grid references taken from that. I imagine therefore that they will be less accurate than I would have hoped.
