Notes: For this visit we parked near Witherslack Hall at SD 437859. This leads to the path that climbs steeply up Whitbarrow Scar. This limestone cliff is covered in yew. Many are passed on the steep climb, and a line of stunted windswept specimens cling to the top of the cliff.
