Notes: The yew grows in the garden of Yew Tree House, Mollyhurst Lane. A local history guide written in 1952 notes this as a site of an old grave yard. It reports that several graves were found in the area, and that when the site was being excavated in 1960 lime pits were discovered, though no documentation was found or historical research carried out at that time. There was also reputed to have been an early church on this site, but no remains have been discovered or any documentary evidence supporting these ideas.
