Notes:March 1984 – Reg Wheeler: Girth of 576cm (18′ 11”) at 30cm. A bole of 5′, much covered in ivy, though attempts had been made to thin this out. There were no signs of hollowing.
April 2001 – Tim Hills: Girth of 19′ 5” (592cm) between the ground and 1′.
