Notes:December 2005 – Cliff Hansford: So much material has been removed from this yew it is difficult to know what it might once have looked like. It has the appearance of being cut right down, killing one side of the tree, while the other has recovered. Historical evidence might help establish whether these are the remains of a very old yew.
