Notes:

October 2011 – Tim Hills: A yew is recorded in parish records as having been planted in 1838. If this is that tree its growth has been rapid. It is male and found in the SE corner of the churchyard. Girth of 11′ 8” (356cm)close to ground is slightly exaggerated by twiggy growth, which covers most of the lower bole. At a height of 8’/10′ the trunk divides into several straight tall parallel branches. Smaller branches dipping towards the ground all around the tree have been cut back at a height of about 6′.
