Notes:

August 1998 Tim Hills: The yew grows SW of the church on steeply sloping ground. 2002: A girth of 28′ 6” (869cm) at 2′ was recorded. 2018: visited to see how much damage had been caused by a partial collapse reported in the winter of 2017/2018. The section that the person is stood next to, seen in photos 1 and 2, has collapsed. The final photos show the yew in 2018, with some wood being prepared for removal. July 2015 – Paul Wood: A generally well kept churchyard and a pleasure to revisit this tree and church where I carried out some work as an archaeology student in 1999. A seat in front of the tree is made from yew, presumably from this tree. We measured at 60 cm and recorded a girth of 29′ 5” (897cm).
