A party had been held here and discarded bottles and cans surrounded the long extinguished fire. No obvious signs of hollowing and the girth was recorded as 12′ 8” (3.86m) at 4′ 6”. The tree has also been recorded on the Ancient Tree Hunt site as 11929, with a girth of 3.8m at 1.5m.
