Source of earliest mention: 1997: Toby Hindson
Notes:1999 – Toby Hindson: The yew lost much of its canopy in the hurricane of 1987, when upper branches gave ring counts up to 251, with the second highest counting 225. Most of the remainder of the huge and vibrantly green canopy was removed in about 1994. In 1999 its girth was 19′ 5” (592cm) at the ground, 19′ 4” (589cm) at 3′ and 20′ 11” (638cm) at 4′.
2014 – Hugo Egleston: There is a big yew in the drive of Park Farm, SU542326, which I did not measure, but it appeared to be well over 15ft round the base. It is tall and spreading with 3 prongs, and sheltered by other trees.
