A short bole with five main branches rising from it at about 2′. Adventitious and twiggy growth well developed on four of its branches. Girth 15′ 3” (465cm) at the ground. The painting, by David Cox, is not dated, nor do we know whether it was painted by David Cox snr. 1783 to 1859 or David Cox jnr. 1809 to 1885.
