The yew is recorded on the Ancient Tree Hunt as a Veteran – number 74766. An obvious ‘play’ tree – children have made a den in the undergrowth. The following details have been noted: decaying wood in the crown and on the ground, hollowing trunk and branches and holes or water pockets. Girth of 461cm at 25cm.
