Notes:October 2009 – Tim Hills: Rev.W.H.Raymer sent the following information to Vaughan Cornish (1946):’Two yews south of church which appear as quite small trees in a photograph taken in 1849′. The postcard photo was taken about 100 years ago and shows the trees looking very similar to each other. If they were planted at the same time, by 2009 they differ considerably in size, the larger girthing 12′ and the smaller 8′ 4”.
