Notes:

1880: Straker recorded a girth of 9′ 9” at 5′ for the younger of Burstow’s yews.
2001 – Tim Hills: 11′ 11” at 5′ over a small amount of epicormic bulging. This tree is in two separate pieces at the ground which join at about 6′. One section is hollowed out from the ground, the other begins the hollowing process at a height of about 2′.
