January 2012 – Tim Hills: A fine looking bole supporting many branches, but foliage is very thin throughout the tree. One section has been allowed to become swamped with ivy. A girth of 12′ 8” at 1′ was recorded.
In 2016 it was remeasured at 1′, this time not affected by ivy, and 12′ 5” was recorded. Foliage still looked thin and there were some brown leaves and a dead fallen branch. A line of graves leads neatly to the tree.
