Notes:The yews shown here are three of ‘thirteen splendid yews’ growing by the medieval castle. The first two photos show a yew with a girth of 4.14m, of which only one small section is still alive. The 3rd photo shows a yew with a girth of 4.32m, while the 4th is a twin stemmed specimen with a girth of 4.94m.
