Described for Cornish’s 1946 book as a ‘fine old yew’. January 2007 – Steve Dearnaley: It grows on a mound and leans heavily towards the church, supported on 3 props. New wood is gradually growing over these supports. This would appear to be the fragment of a once larger yew. Height has been recorded as 10m 19cm.
