March 2000 Tim Hills: There is probably about a third remaining of what was once a substantial tree. To reflect this the yew is in the 5m-7m category. In spite of its considerable lean it gives the appearance of great strength and has not needed to be propped. Girth was 12′ 4” (376cm) at the ground.
2012 Peter Norton: Measured at the ground and 12′ 4” (376cm) recorded.
September 2021 Tim Hills: A girth of about 13′ (396cm) recorded close to the ground is unreliable – elder and holly prevented taping close to the trunk.
