Clodock

This is a tall tree with an even, fluted bole and new growth visible over lost lower limbs. There are also holes suggesting that the tree is beginning to hollow in places. Removal of lower limbs has been necessary because of its proximity to the house. The yew was measured at 4′ – the top of the wall level on the side farthest from the house – and a girth of exactly 13′ (3.96m) was recorded.
