Notes:This once formidable yew, described as a ‘giant yew’ in 1859, grows within a 3’/4′ high circular wall, hiding the base of the tree. Massive branches have been systematically removed, especially on the lower part of the tree (see photos 3 and 4). It was measured below sawn off low branches.
