Yews recorded: Ancient 5m-7m
Tree girth: 579cm

Tree sex: female
Date of visit: 27-Jul-07
Source of earliest mention: 2006: Kate Tobin
Notes:July 2007 – Tim Hills: Trunk largely concealed by thick twiggy growth. Beneath the yew is a large badger hole. Peering into the branches reveals the original trunk, sawn off at a height of about 12′. Around this grow many thick branches, covered with adventitious growth. August 2017 Peter Norton: Four yews grow close to the northeast perimeter. Three are quite young and grow in a small ‘L’ shape. The tree recorded here, closest to the rounded northeast edge of the churchyard is a large bushy female, with a break of crown around 5′ and with 5 to 6 stems and further sub divisions. The centre stem had been truncated. There was evidence of hollowing. Thick ivy prevented measurement.
