September 1999 – Tim Hills: A solid looking tree, its large girth retained for a greater height than usual. A thick covering of ivy. Girth of 18′ 6” (564cm) at 1′, 19′ 10″ (605cm) at 3′ and 19′ 10″ (605cm) at 5′.
June 2013 – Peter Norton: One male yew grows southwest of the church. A mass of dead ivy is evident on the higher branches. A mass of young alder surrounds the bole making it almost impenetrable and impossible to take photographs. A girth of 18′ 10” (574cm) at 1′ was noted.
