Tree ID: 374

Yews recorded: Ancient 5m-7m

Tree girth: 592cm

Girth height: at 60cm

Tree sex: male

Date of visit: 20-Jan-00

Source of earliest mention: 2000: Lin Carter

Notes:

January 2000 Tim Hills: A substantial upright branch rises next to the main trunk and is joined to it for 3′. Time will tell whether it causes the tree to splits into 2 fragments, or enlarges to create a twin trunked yew. Girth was 17′ 4” (528cm) at 5′ (excluding new stem). Girth increases by about 2′ if this more recent growth is included.
2011 – Peter Norton: Measured at 2′ around the complete tree recording 19′ 5” (592cm) at 2′.
