Combe Florey

October 1997 – Tim Hills: Three distinct areas of growth develop around a small platform in the heart of the tree. Two are particularly prominent. Girths were recorded as follows: 25′ 11” (790cm) between the ground and 1′; 27′ approx. at 3′ and 29′ approx. at 5′. Approximations are due to considerable twiggy growth on the bole.
May 2012 – Peter Norton: From one side this almost looks like two trees. Foliage appears healthy and a girth of 26′ 7” (810cm) was recorded close to the ground.
2015 Tim Hills: Girth had increased to 26′ 8” (813cm) close to the ground.
