Notes:November 2014 – Paolo Bavaresco: A clean bole to about 1.3m before forking into a well balanced canopy of 10m radius. A very fine tree in good condition that appears well looked after.
March 2015 Tim Hills: Fine looking tree with branches almost reaching the ground in several places. Soil recently piled against one side of the trunk means that the ground level for measurement is not the same as a few months ago. I recorded 12′ 7” (384cm) at the present ground level, 12′ 3” (373cm) at 1′ and 12′ 8” (386cm) at 2′. Some of the trunk fluting is very deep.
