1897: It was described as much storm broken and measuring 13′ 3″ (404cm) at 3′ in The Yew Trees of Great Britain and Ireland.
1999 – Tim Hills: A hollowing female yew NW of the church. It consists of three main branches supporting much growth. Behind a large panel of white wood it was possible to see red crumbling heart wood and internal stems. I recorded a girth of 16′ 10″ (513cm) at 5′.
30th Oct 2015 – Peter Norton: This female yew grows northwest of the church and can be viewed on Google Maps at 50.884003, 0.496763. Partial loss on the flared bole on the west side of tree allows for internal growth to be viewed.
