2004: SSW of the church. This is the tree under which vegetation cut from the churchyard and the soil from grave digging has been deposited, probably for centuries. At about 4′ above this raised ground level, the bole divides into 2 halves. Girth was 19′ 11” (607cm) around what was at that time the base of the tree.
