Paul Wood – 2017: Yew E on the plan had much lower limb removal to a height of about 12′. The bole had thick dead ivy which prevented close inspection and hindered measurement. Enough ivy was removed to see that the bole bulged dramatically. A measurement of part of the bole suggested that this might be a notable specimen. Foliage was plentiful if not particularly thick. Much gall was visible on the August visit.
