Notes:August 1999 – Tim Hills: A hollowed out tree, its bole supported by a double row of chains. Girths recorded were 20′ 7″ (627cm) at 3′ and 21′ 3″ (648cm) at 5′. The postcard shows that support for its branches has been in place for many decades.
