October 2015 – Paul Wood: The yew grows at the west entrance to the churchyard. While its present girth is 15′ 2” (462cm), measured over a thin layer of ivy at its narrowest point 14” above the ground, this has been a larger girthed yew. It has a south facing hollowed centre in the horse shoe shape with a section missing and a lack of major branches. The tree is female and during the visit of 31/10/2015 was inundated with arils.
