This notable yew grows north west of the church. The plaque indicates that the tree was planted in 1935 to celebrate the silver jubilee of King George V. Its girth in 2010 represents 75 years of growth, to which should be added the tree’s age at the time of planting, information that we do not have. An additional girth of 7′ 11” at 3′ from the ground is recorded.
