Notes:March 2009 – Hugo Egleston: The yew is found at SU628454. Girth @1′ above highest part of ground was 19′ (579cm). Isolated tree on wooded bank of prehistoric earthwork with bluebells. The earthwork, which may be may be of iron age origin – but was more reminiscent of a civil war field work – is an oblong shape enclosing about 4 acres.
2014 – Peter Norton: Female yew. Girth of 18′ 5” (561cm) recorded at 1′ from the top of the bank keeping the tape 90deg to the bole.
