Notes:October 1997 – Tim Hills: The yew grows NNE of the church. A platform within the tree is surrounded by many substantial branches. Girth of 29′ 0” (884cm) at its narrowest point.
June 2015 – Peter Norton: The yew grows close to the church porch. Several dead branches were piled up against the trunk. What looked initially like die back in the crown was a broken branch stuck in the canopy.
2016 – Tim Hills: It not only looked unchanged but was also possible to remeasure at is narrowest point and record a girth of 29′ 4” (894cm), an increase of 4” in 18 years.
