Notes:September 2014 Tim Hills: Low growth made the tree unmeasurable, but it gave the impression of being up to 26 feet in circumference. The large hollow facing the church contained internal growth. Twiggy growth was well developed on the lower bole, and thick foliage filled the rest of the tree. Most of its arils were still green. The photographs from 2011 and 2014 illustrate just how quickly a yew’s bole can become hidden.
