Notes:August 2000 – Tim Hills: A massive hollow tree with concrete posts by the entrance suggesting there might once have been a door.
July 2012 – Tim Hills: The following girth measurements were recorded: 10,61 m at 20 cm; 11,43 cm at 130 cm. Internal root recently being formed. The tree is completely hollow. No trace of concrete posts that once could have held a door. The branches are secured with steel cables and steel rods which are grown into the branches.
