Notes:

Yews on Beacon Hill have been recorded by both Peter Norton and Rob Burrows. It is a private woodland comprising almost 95% yew growing on a north facing slope. The largest with clear stems at 1.5m have girths of up to 10′ 6”. Those branched to ground level have girths of about 13′ 6” (411cm) measured at the ground. Access to this woodland is from the car park at SU407293.
