2011 – Wim Peeters: A girth of 7.67m at 20cm recorded.
2013 – Han van Meegeran: A girth of 7.90m was recorded at 1m and 8.20m at the ground.
September 2014 – Tim Hills: : At the time of my visit ivy was so dense I had to remove it to see any of the bole. The only measurement I took was 8.50 m at the tree’s bulge. There were no signs of hollowing except in its main stem rising to one side of the bole.
The 1868 Annuaire des cinq departements de l’ancienne Normandie, Par Association Normande, pour le progres de l’agriculture, de l’industrie, des sciences et des arts, page 160: ‘A monumental yew covers the north-west part of the cemetery. Its girth counts no less as 17′ 0½”.’ Information provided by Wim Peeters.
