The largest girthed yew stands alone NW of the tower. The Penny Post of 1875 contained the following entry: ‘Fladbury churchyard, Worcestershire, all large and flourishing, with the exception of three very small ones towards the north; one large one on the north side, five on the south. Four on the east, and five on the west side’.
