Notes:

2011 Tim Hills: The yew grows on the north side of the church. Its clean bole and large girth makes it a formidable presence in this churchyard. Branches have been allowed to dip to the ground where one has become embedded. Others are propped to take the branches over the path rather than remove them. While giving the appearance of a solid tree there is a small gap at the base behind which a cavity is developing as the tree becomes hollow. While many brown leaves were apparent, there is also new growth all around the tree.
Girths recorded were 16′ 3” (495cm) at 2′, 16′ 6” (503cm) at 3′ and 16′ 11” (516cm) at 4′. Higher measurements would have been affected by branch development. The yew is recorded by the Ancient Tree Hunt, number 83077.
