Harbledown

A significant yew, certainly a veteran because of its condition (V-con) growing in a special and historic setting. The footpaths in these grounds are publicly accessible by kind permission of the Church and Chantry of St Nicholas. Please do keep to the footpaths unless further permission to examine the tree is obtained.
With a girth of under 4m the tree has previously been classified as notable. Because it displays veteran characteristics it is now classified as V-con (veteran on account of its condition).
