Notes:

March 1999 – Tim Hills: The old yew is an incomplete shell, connected to the ground in 5 places. These combine at heights of between 4′ and 10′. The trunk leans towards the church. Girths recorded as follows: 19′ 2” (584cm) at the ground, 15′ 6” (472cm) at 3′ and 14′ 6” (442cm) at 5′.
A Brief Guide & History describes it thus: ‘Its five pillars of what is little more than tough bark were bolted together to give the tree greater support, in the 1980s’.
2009 – Revisited and found the tree in excellent health.
