Notes:

September 2015 – Paul Wood: What remains of the old yew is found on the north side of the church, on the boundary with an adjacent farm. It was possible to ascertain that its girth at the ground was once at least 7 metres, which would make this a lost ancient yew. It is thought to have been alive in recent years and it is not certain why it has succumbed. It is just possible that beneath the ivy and other plants the yew is creating new growth. If this is happening it will not see daylight and fail to thrive.
