July 2014 – Tim Hills: The significant yew grows WSW of the church. Netting covered its first few feet. Two large trunks have been removed close to the ground on the south side. Some white sapwood of the original trunk was visible in the centre. Foliage was healthy. The girth of 14′ 4” (437cm) at 3′ 3” was recorded in 2013. Including the two ground level trunks in 2014 increases that to above 17′.
