Notes:

December 1999 – Tim Hills: The yew grows NE of the church. Its bole divides close to the ground into 2 main growth areas, one of which has lost a large portion (7′ circ.) which rests on the ground. Its girth was formerly 15’+. When decaying sections have been lost there will be little indication that this was once a much larger tree. Girth of 11′ 2” recorded. June 2007 – Dave Kenny: Measured as 4.20m at 0.9m. The two photos, taken 8 years apart, show how quickly a tree can be taken over by ivy, elder and ash.
