SE of the church, a substantial portion of this yew leans and appears to be held up by tombstones. Girth will be reduced when dead material decays. The girth of 22′ 4″ (681cm) includes dead material. The drawing, from the 1876 Illustrated London News, was supplied by Christian Wolf.
