Notes:The most interesting of the pair is seen in the first two photographs. It has a girth of 1m 72cm at 30cm and a steel band around it which is being enveloped by new wood. This sort of treatment is rarely used on such a young yew. The last photo shows a yew with a girth of 2m 50cm at 40cm.
