1895 – The Yew trees of Great Britain and Ireland: 19′ at the ground, 15′ 6″ at 3′, a height of 45′ and a spread of 57′.
1994 – Owen Johnson: The Sussex Tree Book: 11 metres tall x 147 cm diameter at 1.5m.
1999 – Tim Hills: A horse shoe shaped hollow tree with a girth of 16′ 6″ (503cm) just above the roots at about 1′, 16′ 3″ (495cm) at 3′, narrowing to 14′ 7″ (444.5cm) at 5′.
2009 – TROBI: 4.52m at 1.50.
